Haperskaya ANNOTATION: The paper considers planning the parameters of 1 class RW generated in VVER-1000 SNF reprocessing for the purposes of disposal. This type of SNF will be reprocessed at the pilot demonstration centre at FSUE “MCC”, and the generated waste will be packed in canisters with borosilicate glass. Taking into account that the basic technology envisages production of RW packages with heat generation capacity of about 26 kW/m3, which is substantially in excess of the disposal criteria (2 kW/m3), the authors considered various scenarios for evolution of PDC and DRWDF and suggested an approach to forming SNF batches for reprocessing which would produce RW complying with the requirements.
