Sobolev, K.A. Boldyrev ANNOTATION: Research data on natural, anthropogenic and historical analogues of materials used in engineered safety barrier (EBS) designs are viewed as sources of important information about their degradation, its conditions and dynamics supporting the safety assessments on the long-term stability of radioactive waste disposal facilities (RWDF). The article evaluates historical and natural analogues of safety barrier materials: bentonite, copper, iron, glass, concrete based on Portland cement. It establishes their reference degradation rates that can be recommended under the longterm safety assessments of RWDFs. Keywords: radioactive waste, radioactive waste disposal facility, engineered safety barriers, natural analogues, historical analogues, material. DOWNLOAD (RU) » Sobolev D. A., Boldyrev K. A.
