ASSESSMENT OF EFFECTIVENESS OF HIGH-TEMPERATURE DECONTAMINATION WITH SALT COMPOSITIONS AS APPLIED TO RADIOCHEMICAL PRODUCTION FACILITIES

ANNOTATION:

The article summarizes the studies on the applicability of high-temperature decontamination to radiochemical production equipment. It evaluates the parameters governing the decontamination effectiveness: temperature, salt composition and treatment duration. The study shows that the mass of solid radioactive waste resulting from decontamination does not exceed 0.1 % of the initial sample mass.
