CLASSIFICATION OF RADIOACTIVE WASTE IN THE UNION STATE OF RUSSIA AND BELARUS

ANNOTATION:
This article analyzes radioactive waste classification systems established by regulatory and legal acts of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus in the context of integration processes ongoing within the Union State. The article highlights the differences in the radioactive waste classification systems in Russia and Belarus. The paper particularly focuses on the unification of approaches to radioactive waste classification in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, as well as the issues related to the implementation of a coordinated policy on radioactive waste management and the development of unified approaches to legal regulation within the Union State.
