ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF LISTS OF RADIONUCLIDES MONITORED IN RW FROM NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS

This article discusses the issues faced when developing the lists of radionuclides monitored in nuclear power plant RW. It overviews the accumulated experience associated with such list validation and identifies relevant unresolved issues and pressing challenges. It proposes some ways to address these challenges taking into account the manda tory adherence to newly introduced provisions on standardization and harmonization of the lists presenting the radionuclides allowed for disposal in repositories with the lists of radionuclides monitored in nuclear power plant RW.
