Sharov, A.S. Korotkov, E.A. Logutenkova, S.S. Selkin, O.V. Kornyushkina, A.A. Zagorodnih ANNOTATION: The article evaluates the issues associated with the accounting of long-lived hard-to-detect 59Ni and 63Ni radionuclide in radioactive waste (RW) from nuclear power plants. It considers the properties of these radionuclides and the methods applied to measure their content. It evaluates the accumulated data on the specific activity of 59Ni and 63Ni in RW from nuclear power plants operated by JSC Rosenergoatom Concern and their correlations with the specific activity of a reference gamma-emitting 60Co radionuclide. The article compares the data on Russian nuclear power plants with corresponding international data. Keywords: hard-to-detect radionuclide, 59Ni, 63Ni, specific activity, scaling factor, radiation monitoring, radioactive waste, nuclear power plant. DOWNLOAD (RU) » Sharov D. A., Korotkov A.
