DISMANTLING OF THE LIQUID WASTE REMOVAL SYSTEM EQUIPMENT OF THE MR RESEARCH REACTOR

ANNOTATION:
The article presents the technologies applied and the results obtained during the dismantling of a liquid radioactive waste removal system of the MR and RFT research reactors, namely, of its equipment that had been operated in a building adjacent to the reactor. It describes the methods applied to decontaminate and fragmentate the tanks with liquid radioactive waste, the volumes and specific activities of the generated waste and the waste management technologies.
