ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF REQUIREMENTS FOR MEASUREMENT OF RADIATION CHARACTERISTICS OF SOLID RADIOACTIVE WASTE GENERATED DURING DECOMMISSIONING

ANNOTATION:
The experience about characterization of radioactive waste placed in primary packaging, obtained during practical works on decommissioning of nuclear power facilities on the territory of JSC VNIINM, is generalized. Measures have been analyzed and proposed for organizing and conducting a process for measuring radiation characteristics of solid radioactive waste as building waste, plastic, fragments of equipment, fragments of personal protective equipment, and soils.
